‘Do not Breathe’ in running at Molins filmfest Spain

Iranian short film ‘Do not Breathe’ has been in the running at the 41st Molins Horror Film Festival in Spain.

Iranian short film ‘Do not Breathe’ has been in the running at the 41st Spain-based Molins Horror Film Festival (MHFF).  

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Do not Breathe’ is participating online in the 2022 edition of the festival, which runs from October 27 to November 13.

In the film, a man's mouth releases smoke when he breathes, which causes issues for both him and those around him.

‘Do not Breathe’ is directed by Milad Nasimsobhan.

The cast of the film includes Ali Baqeri, Alireza Mehran, Ali Farzin, Vahid Khaksari, and Amirali AliNaqi.

‘Do not Breathe’ has already gone on screen at the 26th Bucheon Int’l Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea, the 21st Route 66 Film Festival in the US, the 50th Curtas Festival de Imaxinario in Spain and the 44th Moscow Int’l Film Festival in Russia.

The short is the recipient of the international short film award of the 55th Houston Int’l Film Festival in the US and the Regina International Film Festival & Awards in Canada.  

Known as Terror Molins, the festival is one of the oldest horror movie marathons in Spain and in Europe.
